Absolute Classics is working with Annan Academy to support their music students who are working towards a Music Leaders Award offered by the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This is a new opportunity for talented young musicians to enhance their skills in various aspects of musical study.

One of the tasks of this Award is to review a concert. Each student will be able to choose one of our online concerts for their review and we will also organise for them to conduct an online 1-2-1 Q&A session with the performer of their chosen concert.

Once the reviews have been assessed, they will be published on the school’s social media, on Absolute Classics’ social media, and potentially in the Annandale Observer as a series of reviews.

Annan Academy is one of only five schools in Scotland offering the young Music Leaders Award. We are hugely grateful to Absolute Classics for adding such value to this project by allowing access to high quality concerts by world-class performers as well facilitating interviews and personal contact.
