Our second Games Music Composition Course for students studying music at a higher level at Annan Academy was delivered in a new format where half of the sessions were group workshops and half were 1-2-1 sessions with dedicated time to work on individual needs for developing a high level of compositional technique. The participants developed full scores and parts for their pieces, which were recorded at Annan Academy by Lovers Lane Studios during February 2018. The young composers each worked with the ensemble of professional musicians to ensure their creative and expressive vision for their piece was captured.

As with our previous games music composition course, these recordings were given to the students on professionally mastered CDs as well as being uploaded to SoundCloud so that they can include links in their CVs to demonstrate their commitment to excellence in a personal project.
